We’re partnering with a leading oil & gas operator in Aberdeen to recruit an experienced Project Manager with Business Continuity (BCP) expertise to support a critical programme of work. This role will focus on refreshing Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for key IT systems, ensuring the organisation can continue to operate safely and effectively in the event of system disruptions. Working closely with the HSE team and IT stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding operational resilience across the business.

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedule and work plans.
  • Assemble, plan and lead teams to deliver the project objectives.
  • Facilitate business impact analysis sessions with each business function.
  • Identify key processes, confirm the critical processes and the IT service that support them.
  • Create and maintain project documentation to track actions, risks and issues.
  • Track project progress and costs, and proactively manage any changes via a controlled Change management process.
  • Conduct regular reviews during project, providing feedback and reports to key stakeholders / senior management.

Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering Business Continuity (BCP) or resilience-focused projects. Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure in an enterprise environment. Experience working with or alongside HSE / operational risk teams. Background within oil & gas, energy, or highly regulated industries. Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and drive delivery across cross-functional teams. Strong planning, risk management, and governance skills. Experience facilitating BCP testing and crisis simulation exercises is highly desirable.
