We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in supporting a major company merger and wider Digital & Data transformation initiatives. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for leading and delivering projects in line with established stage-gate governance and project delivery standards. You will manage project scope, objectives, timelines, risks, and deliverables, ensuring successful outcomes for both the business and its stakeholders. You may be required to run one or many projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement project/s.
  • Define project scope, objectives and deliverables.
  • Actively manage scope.
  • Define tasks and deliverables into a viable project schedule, identify dependencies, managing delivery to the schedule.
  • Assemble and manage project team, with a viable resourcing plan.
  • Manage the project budget, including periodic updates on value of work done and forecast at completion.
  • Support and direct the project team.
  • Quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Report on status.
  • Identify stakeholders, engage, and communicate.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Resolve issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Evaluate and assess the result of the project.
  • Prepare projects for stage gates following the clients governance process.
  • Preparation and input to periodic governance forums.

RequirementsEssential

  • PMP, Prince 2 or equivalent project management certification.
  • UK Energy industry experience.
  • Experience leading IT infrastructure, application, or data projects.

Desirable

  • Upstream oil and gas operations experience.
