We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to support the successful delivery of a digital programme, with a focus on Dynamics 365 and PowerApps solutions. The role will ensure high-quality system delivery through structured testing practices, validating that solutions meet business requirements and deliver expected value.

  • Plan and execute end-to-end test cycles across: System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End (E2E) testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression testing.
  • Ensure full coverage of business processes and requirements across Dynamics 365 and PowerApps solutions.
  • Develop detailed test cases, test scripts and charters.
  • Validate functional and non-functional requirements, system integrations, data integrity and migration outputs, security and performance, workflow and automation processes.
  • Execute test cases and capture supporting evidence.
  • Record pass/fail outcomes with clear, repeatable documentation.
  • Identify, log, and track defects, including accurate severity and priority classification.
  • Collaboration with developers to support root-cause analysis and retest fixes and validate defect resolution.
  • Ensure system stability and prevent defect reintroduction.
  • Support test environment preparation and develop and execute automated test scenarios where appropriate.
  • Utilise tools such as: TestComplete, Zephyr, CI/CD-integrated automation frameworks.
  • Validate integrations and data flows.
  • Produce test reports.
  • Provide QA sign-off confirming solutions meet acceptance criteria and are ready for progression or production deployment.

Requirements

  • Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE/CRM) and Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate).
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end testing methodologies and QA best practices.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Zephyr, JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data validation techniques.
  • Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working in large-scale digital transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of data migration testing approaches.
  • Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. utilities, financial services, public sector).
