About The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Project Manager to oversee a variety of complex projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with our client's strategic goals and our Sword PM framework. In this role, you'll be responsible for planning and performance, managing the project team, monitoring and reporting, change processes, comprehensive risk and issue management, and successfully closing out each project. Your capability to develop strategies and manage project documentation, while also effectively communicating with the project team and all essential stakeholders, as well as identifying potential risks, will be critical to your success.
Responsibilities
- Developing detailed project plans for timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives
- Tracking project progress and performance, providing regular updates and resolutions to any issues that arise
- Facilitating stakeholder workshops to gather requirements and build consensus
- Identifying potential project risks and implementing relevant mitigation strategies
- Ensuring all project deliverables are completed to the highest quality standards in accordance with best practice
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a technology focused environment, preferably within the Energy, Public and Finance sectors
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience using project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Azure DevOps)
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is a plus
- A proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision making abilities
