The Communication & Engagement Analyst role will support the delivery of high-quality, impactful communications across a major Digital transformation programme. Working within the Change function, this role will assist the Digital Communication and Engagement Manager in creating engaging, insight-led content that showcases the value and benefits delivered by Digital teams. The role will focus on content creation, stakeholder engagement, and communication delivery to drive awareness, understanding, and adoption of digital change initiatives across the organisation.

  • Develop engaging, audience-focused content to communicate the value of digital transformation initiatives across Transmission.
  • Produce written materials including articles, feature stories, and case studies highlighting benefits delivered to teams and individuals.
  • Create visually compelling content including infographics and supporting imagery to enhance engagement.
  • Support the end-to-end creation of video content, including storyboarding and scripting, filming and editing, publishing across internal channels.
  • Ensure content is aligned to key messaging and stakeholder needs.
  • Translate complex technical and digital concepts into clear, engaging communications suitable for non-technical audiences.
  • Proactively identify and develop stories that demonstrate the impact and value of digital change initiatives.
  • Work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders to gather insights and success stories.

Requirements

Required Experience:

  • Experience in a communications, engagement, or change role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • Experience creating engaging digital content, including articles, presentations, and visual assets.
  • Hands-on experience supporting video production (storyboarding, scripting, filming, editing).
  • Experience managing SharePoint intranet sites and internal communication platforms.
  • Familiarity with email distribution tools (e.g. Axios or similar).
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly messaging.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple pieces of work in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working within the utilities or regulated sector.
  • Understanding of change management principles and supporting adoption of IT transformation initiatives.
