About the Role:
The BIM Programme Delivery Lead plays a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of our BIM programme. Focused on analysing and documenting the current state, shaping the future state, and working collaboratively with the business to close any gaps, the BIM Programme Delivery Lead ensures outcomes are achieved on time and to expectation.
This role demands a strong customer focus, a proactive approach to problem solving, and an ability to lead across a wide stakeholder group. Acting as a key point of contact, the BIM Programme Delivery Lead will foster collaboration across business and technical teams, drive accreditation activities, and ensure clear, consistent communication throughout the programme lifecycle.
As the BIM Programme Delivery Lead, you will be:
- Building strong relationships across the BIM Steering Group, Product Owners, Engineering Managers, BIM Leads, Onshore/Offshore PIO Leads, and Departmental Leads.
- Attending and contributing to programme planning sessions, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives.
- Owning the ISO 19650 Part 2 accreditation plan and ensuring the team is fully aware of their roles, deliverables, outcomes, and timelines.
- Maintaining and updating BIM documentation and process standards as required.
- Following and supporting the established project governance model alongside key business stakeholders.
- Tracking project deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Acting as an escalation point to help remove barriers and maintain momentum.
- Ensuring compliance with procurement, security, legal, and data protection policies.
- Collaborating with IT change teams to align activities and timelines.
- Managing risks, actions, issues, and dependencies (RAID) in coordination with the PMO.
- Leveraging digital tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Miro to support effective programme delivery.
- Providing regular, concise, and transparent updates to the BIM Delivery Lead and key business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a BIM-focused role within a large or complex organisation, with comprehensive knowledge of BIM processes and standards.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to clearly visualise, communicate, and deliver solutions to business challenges.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
