We have a newly created opportunity for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to help protect our Enterprise customers' information, systems and digital services, and to play a key role in managing cyber risk across their global environment.
- Provide cyber assurance across a global information systems environment, helping ensure data, applications and infrastructure are well protected.
- Identify, evaluate and clearly report cyber security risks to information assets.
- Work with the Operational Security team to understand cyber threats and explain their business impact to senior stakeholders.
- Support second-line assurance activities covering confidentiality, integrity, availability, privacy, safety and recovery of information.
- Work with internal teams and third-party suppliers to identify and assess supplier-related cyber risk.
Requirements
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong cyber security experience, backed up by relevant certifications (such as CySA+, Security+) and solid risk management knowledge.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn findings into practical actions.
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of security technologies, including SIEM, EDR, NIDS and similar tools.
- Confidence assessing data security and governance requirements and recommending appropriate controls.
- A good understanding of recognised security frameworks such as NIST CSF and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile when it counts.
- Experience working in globally distributed organisations across different time zones.
- Cyber security KPI monitoring and reporting experience.
- Experience engaging third-party security specialists for additional assurance.
- Cloud security experience, with an understanding of modern threats and threat-modelling techniques.
