About the role:
The IT Project Manager is responsible for delivering overall project objectives and specific team deliverables, by the planning of project activities and executing assigned tasks/work within the expected quality standards, to ensure the project is a success. This role can be hybrid split between home and on-site. Ideally based in or a commutable distance of Aberdeen.
Here’s what the role looks like:
- Manage a portfolio of projects ranging in size and complexity, ensuring projects are delivered in scope, on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedule and work plans.
- Assemble, plan, and lead technical teams to deliver the project objectives.
- Track project progress and costs, and proactively manage any changes via a controlled Change management process.
- Create and maintain project documentation to track actions, risks, and issues.
- Provide project reporting, both internal and external.
- Planning and managing service changes and service go-lives.
- Conducting regular reviews during project and service transition with customers and key stakeholders/senior management.

- You’ll be an experienced IT Project Manager with exposure to the delivery of a range of IT projects.
- You’ll work alongside a highly experienced technical delivery team.
- You’ll support clients and colleagues alike through the delivery of complex and technically challenging transformation programmes with a primary focus on networking solutions and systems integration.
- You’ll be given the opportunity to work on projects that will allow you to keep your skillset at the forefront of developments in both technology and PM methodology.
