About the roleWe\βre looking for a motivated, commercially minded individual with solid experience in travel sales (typically 2+ years). Someone who genuinely loves sales and has a track record of converting enquiries into bookings while building trusted customer relationships. You\βll know how to bring a destination to life through your storytelling, inspiring customers to picture themselves on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
Ideally, you\βve sold holidays, cruises, or expeditions, and you\βre excited about specialising in Antarctica β developing deep expertise and becoming a trusted destination specialist. You\βll be resilient, organised, and proactive β someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment while reflecting Swoop\βs values of sustainability, adventure, and exceptional service.
Key responsibilities
- Travel Sales Experience β Solid experience in travel sales (typically 2+ years), with a strong track record of converting enquiries into bookings
- Storytelling & Influence β Brings destinations to life, inspiring customers through engaging conversations and persuasive communication
- Destination Expertise β Motivated to specialise in Antarctica, developing deep knowledge to inspire confidence in customers
- Customer Communication β Clear, confident communicator (spoken and written), fluent in English, able to engage effectively with international customers
- Relationship Building β Builds rapport and trust with customers through active listening, empathy, and exceptional service
- Written Follow-Up β Reinforces conversations with structured, persuasive, and professional email communication
- Organisation & Process Discipline β Accurately manages CRM systems, enquiries, and bookings with attention to detail
- Resilience & Reliability β Remains focused, dependable, and calm under pressure.
- Growth Mindset β Eager to learn, open to feedback, and motivated to grow into a high-performing sales specialist

About you
- You are energised by sales and love the challenge of converting enquiries into bookings while creating meaningful customer relationships
- You bring solid experience in travel sales (typically 2+ years) β ideally selling holidays, cruises, or expeditions β and a proven ability to convert enquiries into bookings
- You have a natural ability to inspire through storytelling, helping customers imagine themselves on unforgettable adventures
- You are excited to specialise in Antarctica, motivated to develop deep destination expertise and become a trusted advisor
- You\βre a confident communicator (spoken and written), comfortable engaging with international customers and following up with persuasive, well-structured emails
- You are proactive, resilient, and calm under pressure, thriving in a fast-paced sales environment
- You\βre highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to managing systems, enquiries, and bookings
- You value learning and growth, welcoming feedback and striving to improve your performance

Employment details
Salary & Compensation:
- Base Salary: Β£25,000 β Β£27,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Sales Bonus: Β£3,000 β Β£4,000 per annum (uncapped)
- Company Bonus: Β£1,800 per annum
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): Approx, Β£30,000 β Β£33,000+ per annum
Holiday:
- Twenty-five days paid holiday, in addition to your birthday and public holidays
Working Hours:Full-Time:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am β 5:30 PM GMT
- Flexibility may be required to accommodate global customers
Weekend Working:
- Two weekend days per month (e.g. one Saturday and one Sunday)
- Equivalent time off will be given during the week
Working Arrangements:
Remote β This role is primarily remote, but we value face-to-face interactions for collaboration, training and team building. Occasional visits to Bristol office may be required
