Looking for a lettings role where your ambition, personality and ability to build relationships can translate into serious earning potential?
This is an opportunity to join one of South West London's leading independent estate agencies, with an outstanding reputation across sales, lettings and property management.
With a strong presence in Fulham and Parsons Green, the business has built an enviable reputation through its local market expertise, long-standing landlord relationships and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Offering a refreshing alternative to the traditional corporate agency environment, this is a close-knit, ambitious business where people are encouraged to take ownership, use their initiative and make a genuine contribution.
With an attractive earning potential of £60,000–£65,000, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Lettings Negotiator looking to maximise their earnings and develop their career within a highly regarded independent agency.
The Opportunity
This is a varied, hands-on position combining the commercial focus of residential lettings with the client-facing responsibilities of property management.
Your primary focus will be successfully letting properties, managing applicants, conducting viewings, negotiating offers and progressing deals through to completion.
Alongside this, you'll play an important role in supporting the property management function, acting as a local point of contact for landlords and tenants. This will involve conducting property visits and inspections, arranging key handovers and helping develop relationships with landlords interested in the company's property management service.
It's an opportunity to take ownership, build meaningful client relationships and become an integral part of a successful independent agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage applicants throughout the lettings process, from initial enquiry and property viewings through to securing offers and agreeing tenancies.
- Conduct property viewings, negotiate offers and successfully convert opportunities into completed lets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants, delivering an exceptional level of customer service.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities, generate leads and help grow the landlord portfolio.
- Support landlords with viewing feedback, offers, rental advice and pricing recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to convert landlords onto the property management service.
- Conduct property visits and inspections, providing a local, client-facing presence for the property management team.
- Coordinate key handovers, liaise with contractors and assist with day-to-day property management requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient tenancy process from instruction through to move-in.
About You
- At least two years' experience within residential lettings, ideally within the London market.
- Confident conducting viewings, negotiating offers and progressing deals.
- A natural relationship-builder who enjoys working with people and delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Commercially minded, ambitious and motivated by achieving strong results.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable balancing multiple priorities.
- A positive, hands-on attitude with the flexibility to support different areas of the business.
- Knowledge of Fulham and the surrounding South West London property market would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
What's On Offer
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Opportunity to join one of South West London's most established independent agencies.
- A close-knit, ambitious team where individual contribution and performance are recognised.
- A meritocratic environment with opportunities to develop and progress as the business grows.
