We are conducting a confidential search for an Executive Director to join the board of a fast-growing property investment and operating platform with significant ambitions in the London residential market. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving growth through strategic partnerships with institutional developers, residential platforms and Build-to-Rent operators.

With a strong operational leadership team already in place, the Executive Director will take ownership of commercial strategy, market positioning and revenue generation, with the majority of time spent externally building relationships and originating new opportunities. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the London strategy of a scaling investment management platform, working directly with the board to expand partnerships with major residential asset owners.

The Role

  • Develop and lead the London growth strategy targeting institutional residential investors and operators
  • Build and convert relationships with developers, BTR platforms and large-scale residential asset owners
  • Originate new mandates and long-term strategic partnerships
  • Act as a senior ambassador within the London residential investment and operational real estate community
  • Work closely with the board to drive revenue growth and market expansion

This is an 80% client-facing role focused on commercial origination and strategic partnerships.

The Profile

We are seeking a highly credible industry leader with deep networks across the institutional residential and operational real estate sectors. You are likely to be operating in a senior leadership role within:

  • A Build-to-Rent operator
  • A residential operating platform
  • A hospitality-led residential brand
  • A residential investment manager

You will bring:

  • A strong track record of originating large-scale partnerships or mandates
  • Deep relationships with institutional investors, developers and residential operators
  • The credibility to operate at board and investor level
  • A commercial mindset and ability to unlock new revenue opportunities
