With a strong national footprint, an ambitious growth strategy and a track record of successful acquisitions, this business is entering an exciting new phase of scale — and they’re now looking to hire an experienced M&A Project Manager to play a pivotal role in that journey.
The opportunity
Joining a well-established and fast-moving M&A team, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end project management across multiple acquisitions. This is a high-visibility role where you’ll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure deals move smoothly from pre-acquisition through to post-completion integration. If you enjoy operating in a transactional, fast-paced environment and thrive on bringing structure, clarity and momentum to complex deals, this role offers genuine impact and long-term progression.
What you’ll be doing
- Pre-acquisition
- Building and owning detailed project plans for each acquisition
- Coordinating internal and external stakeholders across M&A, HR, Finance, IT, Operations and Governance
- Running project calls, tracking actions and managing timelines
- Overseeing data rooms, document flow and key risk registers
- Monitoring deal progress through to successful completion
- Managing the handover from deal close into integration
- Keeping integration milestones on track across all workstreams
- Maintaining accurate internal records and documentation
- Driving continuous improvement and change across acquisition and integration processes
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years’ experience in Project Management
- Proven experience within M&A or a highly transactional environment
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- A mindset geared towards process improvement and operational efficiency
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
