We are partnering with a fast-growing, founder-led financial services business to appoint a Chief of Staff to the CEO, a rare opportunity to work side-by-side with an entrepreneurial leader at the heart of a scaling organisation. This is not a traditional operational role. Instead, it offers a 2–3 year “apprenticeship” at C-suite level, designed for an ambitious, high-calibre individual who wants to accelerate their path towards senior leadership, founding, or general management.

The Opportunity

As Chief of Staff, you will act as the CEO’s right hand, owning and driving the initiatives that matter most to the business. You’ll bring structure, pace, and execution to a wide range of strategic and operational projects; freeing the CEO to focus on growth and vision. From AI rollouts and commercial strategy to expansion planning and internal transformation, you will be at the centre of decision-making and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own strategic initiatives end-to-end, driving projects from idea through to execution or closure
  • Manage decision cadence, preparing leadership meetings, tracking actions, and ensuring follow-through
  • Lead high-impact projects, spanning technology, operations, growth, and market expansion
  • Act as a bridge to the senior leadership team, ensuring alignment, clarity, and momentum
  • Prepare strategic materials, including board papers, investor content, and market analysis

About You

We’re looking for individuals who combine intellectual horsepower with a strong bias to action:

  • Experience: 3–6 years’ post-graduate experience
  • Background in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, transaction services, or a high-growth business
  • Strong academic track record (top-tier university or equivalent)
  • Mindset: Highly proactive, with a track record of getting things done
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
  • Detail-oriented but pragmatic, able to deliver at pace
  • Low ego, hands-on, and willing to roll up your sleeves
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills

Why This Role?

This is a career-defining position for someone who aspires to become a future CEO, COO, or founder. You’ll gain:

  • Unparalleled exposure to executive decision-making
  • Hands-on experience across all areas of a scaling business
  • Mentorship from an experienced founder
  • A clear pathway into a senior operating role

Package

Base salary from £70,000 (dependent on experience) 10–20% discretionary bonus 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme Hybrid working (Mayfair office) Immediate start available

If you’re ambitious, commercially sharp, and ready to accelerate your career at the highest level of a dynamic business, we’d love to hear from you.
