About the role
- Develop business relationships with potential clients by offering our products via superior customer service.
- Engage with various stakeholders, such as commercial equipment manufacturers, suppliers and vendors.
- Present the company to potential clients, via phone, online, or in person where required.
- Achieve productivity and sales budget KPIs set out by the Company.
- Develop an understanding of customers' requirements to offer a client-focused service.
- Maintain and manage a pipeline and ensure administration is completed on internal systems to aid the fair treatment of customers.
- Create and be accountable for all client quotes and proposals, following finance procedures through the entire process.
- Understand your client's requirements and price transactions accordingly.
- Assist the wider team in achieving outstanding customer service, delivering outcomes that are both customer-centric and commercially viable to help the business achieve its goals.
- Perform your role with a positive and constructive attitude within the team environment.
- Ensure all compliance regulations, legislation, FCA conduct rules and core responsibilities are adhered to where relevant.
- Contribute to the culture and development of Swoop and always maintain the reputation of the business.
About you
- 2+ years of prior sales experience within an Asset Finance or financial services environment would be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- High degree of self-motivation and desire to drive success.
- Demonstrate a commitment to achieving the highest standards.
- Strong IT, customer service, organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to create and maintain strong client relationships, communicate with clients and key stakeholders.
- Good understanding of the products offered (asset finance) and the markets that Swoop targets (desired but training is provided).
- Ability to negotiate effectively and influence decisions.
- Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, our customers, and our business.
- A good understanding of SME lending and analytical skills.
