Greetings from Smartwork IT Services! We are seeking a Senior OIC Developer with one of our valuable clients in Leeds/ London, UK.
Role: Senior OIC Developer
Location: Leeds, UK (or) London, UK
Responsibilities:
- Analyze systems integrations and create system and software architecture that keep enterprise data secure and compliant.
- Use standards and best practices to create architectural designs and diagrams.
- Interface with clients and business partners to understand overall needs.
- Create integration processes using OIC technologies.
- Build reusable code and efficiently upon the existing data model while quickly adjusting as priorities change.
- Maintain high service levels for clients, always on.
- Implement security and data protection.
- Design and implement data storage solutions.
- Estimate work effort and assist with task breakdowns.
- Document work via appropriate code comments and maintain complete and detailed diagrams of the work being done.
- Collaborate with the team to solve complex problems, while also working independently on assigned tasks.
- Follow, enhance, and contribute to group coding standards and best practices around documentation, code formatting, and source control.
- Assist business users to gain familiarity with OIC (e.g., error log checking, OIC dashboards, examining payloads for errors).

- OIC VBCS platform expertise
- Java – Expert level
- JavaScript – Expert level
- TRADACOM, EDIFACT, X12 – Expert
- Experience with EDI Integrations on OIC is an essential skill
- Experience with SFTP and AS2 based EDI
