Schneider Electric is seeking a skilled and motivated Application Design Engineer to join our team in Leeds. This role focuses on the design and application engineering of our 11kV Genie-EVO switchgear, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions, collaborating with customers, and supporting project delivery from concept to completion. Responsibilities Lead design and develop application-specific solutions using 11kV Genie-EVO switchgear. Create and manage 2D ePLAN drawings, including 3D layout elements. Lead and participate in technical design meetings with customers. Ensure all designs comply with ENA Wiring Standards and customer specifications. Program and configuration protection relays. Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) aligned with procurement needs. Generate and manage technical documentation, including design reports and relay configuration files. Support hybrid project delivery, working both remotely and on-site as required. Complete engineering drawings and wiring diagrams (core deliverables). Full design package for Genie-EVO switchgear applications (core deliverables). Verified ePLAN drawings (core deliverables). Configured protection relay files and supporting documentation (core deliverables). Accurate and complete BOMs (core deliverables).
