Role and Responsibilities:
- Conducting outbound telesales to engage SME businesses, securing authorisation to assist them in switching or agreeing a new energy or water contract (Note: full and comprehensive training will be provided).
- Targeted data is provided that you will need to drive results.
- Establishing and nurturing a pipeline of potential clients.
- Utilising our in-house CRM system effectively.
- Meeting and exceeding agreed-upon targets.
- Collaborating closely with acquisition account managers.
What skills or experience do we look for:
- Previous experience in B2B sales preferable but not essential.
- Energy sales experience would be preferred, but not essential, as full training will be given.
- Industry knowledge and experience within the Energy sector is preferred, but not essential.
- Customer-focused approach with the customer always at the heart of what we do.
- Excellent telephone manner is essential.
- Track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Adaptability to new CRM's and evolving processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ethical conduct and commitment to compliance.
- Ability to explain, challenge and educate customers about their Energy and Utility requirements and card processing needs.
