If you:

  • Have great communication skills
  • Understand what it takes to make people feel welcome
  • Have great organisational and administrative skills

We’d love to hear from you. Our Community Hub in Nottingham is exactly that - a centre for the local community. We have multiple activities taking place in the evenings including a boxing school but it is not just an ordinary boxing gym. We build champions in and out of the ring, by supporting all our members to reach their true potential. We change lives. Switch Up provides valuable and life changing interventions for vulnerable young people. Some of the young people we work with through Switch Up also attend our gym. Our club is affiliated with England Boxing, so standards must be high.

We are looking for special people to work in our Switch Up Community Hub in Nottingham, to support our delivery teams and to help create a welcoming environment to all the users of our services. Experience of working in a front of house role is essential, and an interest in sport/boxing would be useful. You must be able to work on your own initiative and be self-motivated. You must also have an eye for detail and an ability to prioritise your own workload.

Whilst the hours are fixed, we may take on more than one person as a job share, so if you are looking for a part time role around other commitments, please let us know how many hours you are looking for when you apply. You may be required to work at our other site in Mansfield from time to time, so an ability to travel between Nottingham and Mansfield is required.

If you’d like to know more and think you might be a good fit, send us your CV, we are eager to talk to you. For more information about the role please call Khai Suleiman on 07776 534352.

If you have experience in reception, front of house, hosting, customer service, front desk, gym receptions, membership sign ups, you may like to look at this role.
