We’re currently working with a leading organisation undergoing a major technology transformation, and we’re looking for an experienced Data Architect to join their Architecture & Integration team. This is a key role where you’ll help shape the future of a complex hybrid technology estate, working across cloud, hosted and on-premises environments.

Location: London

Salary: Up to £125,000

Start: ASAP

What you’ll be doing:

  • Map and optimise current-state data flows across the technology estate
  • Design cloud-first target architectures
  • Define and govern data architecture standards across projects and platforms
  • Lead the design of modern cloud data platforms, including lakehouse architectures
  • Shape streaming and batch data pipelines
  • Support data infrastructure for AI/ML and GenAI/RAG use cases
  • Engage with projects from the early stages, ensuring architecture is properly designed and documented
  • Represent data architecture within technical governance forums

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience across AWS and/or GCP data services
  • Experience with enterprise architecture governance, such as TDA, ARB or equivalent
  • Ability to work from high-level data strategy through to detailed pipeline architecture
  • Strong understanding of modern cloud data architecture and data platforms
  • Experience working across complex, hybrid technology estates
  • Experience with Oracle modernisation would be advantageous
