💻 Role: Lead Devops/Platform Engineer

🌍 Location: Remote in UK

💰 Salary: up to £85,000 plus discretionary bonus

A fast-paced, high-performing engineering team is looking for a Lead Devops Engineer with the perfect balance of technical expertise and leadership strength. You’ll step into a critical role, helping shape the team’s CI/CD capabilities and cloud native infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Architect and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines
• Design and modernise cloud-native infrastructure (They use Oracle Cloud, but any cloud background is welcome)
• Drive cross-team technical initiatives and delivery excellence
• Mentor and grow engineers while embedding a DevOps culture
• Foster operational maturity, reliability, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid hands on engineering background, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Helm, and observability stacks
• Hands-on mindset paired with proven experience leading initiatives and influencing stakeholders
• Deep understanding of platform reliability, DevEx, and delivery at scale
• Ability to remain cool-headed under pressure and navigate ambiguity with confidence
