As a result of continued expansion, our client, an independent firm of pension actuaries and consultants, is currently looking for a Team Leader or Senior Pensions Administrator to provide supervision and management of their administration team dealing primarily with DB pension schemes.
Responsibilities:
- Mentoring and managing a team of administrators to ensure effective and successful administration of clients' pension schemes, ensuring an excellent level of service.
- Dealing with enquiries from new and existing pension scheme members, as well as clients and financial advisors.
- Planning and managing annual administration events, e.g., pension increases and renewals.
- Checking work and calculations of more junior members of the team and providing support and training where needed.
Experience:
- Demonstrable experience of working within the pensions industry, ideally DB / Defined Benefit based from either a consulting or third party administration (TPA) or in-house environment.
- Experience in checking work and calculations of more junior members of the team.
- Ideally achieved, or be working towards, PMI, QPA or CPC qualifications.
