The HR Administrator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function. This position is responsible for providing efficient administrative support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR records are maintained accurately, supporting recruitment activities, and helping to deliver a positive employee experience while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with employment laws and company policies.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
- HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems.
- Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other employee documentation.
- Process starters, leavers, and employment changes in a timely manner.
- Ensure employee files comply with GDPR and company policies.
- Administer absence, holiday, and other employee records.
- Maintain the Organisational Chart, keeping up to date with changes.
- Support with the maintenance of data in the HR system (Cascade) including entering overtime, uploading timesheet information, setting up new starters, processing leavers and changes.
- Raising POs.
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support the recruitment process by posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and liaising with candidates.
- Conduct right-to-work checks and pre-employment screening.
- Coordinate new starter onboarding and induction activities.
- Prepare new starter documentation and ensure all onboarding requirements are completed.
- Payroll & Benefits Support
- Assist with the monthly payroll process by providing accurate employee data.
- Process benefit enrolments and employee changes.
- Respond to basic employee queries regarding pay, benefits, and HR policies.
- Employee Relations Support
- Provide first-line support for routine HR queries.
- Assist with employee relations cases, including note-taking during meetings when required.
- Support HR initiatives and projects to improve employee engagement and retention.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure HR processes comply with employment legislation and company procedures.
- Produce HR reports and metrics as required.
- Support audits and maintain HR compliance documentation.
- Monitor and update mandatory training records.
ESSENTIAL / DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDING REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience using HR systems.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or willing to work towards.
- Knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Previous experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Experience of SAP.
