Switch Jam is a B2B marketing agency working with SaaS, software, and specialist B2B companies. We are looking for an Outbound Growth & Automation Manager to operate and optimise our outbound growth engine. The core ICP model, classification logic, booking flow, and overall strategy are already defined. Your responsibility is to run, maintain, and improve the outbound and automation systems that generate qualified meetings. This role supports both Switch Jam’s internal growth activity and selected client-side outbound campaigns. You will work closely with the founder and the Campaign & Content Manager to ensure outbound and nurture activity runs consistently, accurately, and without disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Engine Execution
- Run and maintain ICP-aligned prospect lists
- Operate existing Python classification script to segment SaaS vs AI SaaS vs Enterprise software
- Pull and filter contact data from Cognism / Apollo
- Enrich and structure data where required (e.g. Clay)
- Upload, tag, and segment contacts correctly in CRM
- Build, manage, and optimise cold email campaigns in Instantly
- Ensure outbound activity runs consistently and does not stall
- Own reply handling workflows and ensure qualified meetings are booked via existing website form
- Target: 10 qualified meetings per month (internal activity baseline)
- Automation & Nurture Execution
- Build and maintain ActiveCampaign sequences aligned to outbound campaigns
- Ensure cold outreach and nurture flows are correctly sequenced
- Maintain tagging, segmentation, and workflow integrity
- Use Make.com or equivalent tools to connect and maintain automation processes
- Debug automation or trigger issues independently
- Deliverability & Risk Control
- Maintain safe sending practices within Instantly
- Monitor domain health and reply rates
- Test campaigns carefully before launch
- Avoid actions that damage domain reputation
- Apply judgement and restraint when testing automation
- Tracking & Implementation Accuracy
- Apply UTM parameters correctly where required
- Ensure outbound links and tracking are correctly implemented
- Flag issues early if data flow breaks or behaviour is unexpected
- Workflow & Meeting Support
- Maintain clean CRM records
- Ensure prospect status and segmentation are accurate
- Prepare accurate outbound activity data for reporting
- Ensure booked meetings meet ICP criteria
Skills & Experience
- Essential
- Hands-on experience running cold email platforms (e.g. Instantly)
- Experience working with B2B contact databases (e.g. Cognism, Apollo)
- Comfortable operating automation tools (ActiveCampaign, Make.com or similar)
- Strong organisational discipline
- High attention to detail
- Comfortable debugging systems independently
- Nice to Have
- Clay or similar personalisation tools
- Email deliverability experience
- B2B or SaaS background

Particulars
- Reporting to: Founder
- Location: UK preferred (local or hybrid). Remote considered.
- Working pattern: Part-time (15–20 hours per week)
- Pay: UK-based: £1,500–£1,800 per month / £25–£30 per hour / Offshore (EU): £800–£1,200 per month / £12–£18 per hour
