We now have an exciting opportunity for a Reception Manager to join Park Regis Birmingham.
As a Reception Manager you will be required to master the art of versatility and inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties. The main duties expected within the role are:
- Guest Services:
- Oversee all front desk operations, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and efficient service.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly, aiming to resolve issues to guests\β satisfaction.
- Ensure all guest requests and inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate, performance Review and Appraisal of reception staff.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage time-off requests to ensure adequate coverage.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, expectations, and provide training.
- Operational Duties:
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Do Five Shifts a week at the Reception Desk.
- Oversee the handling of reservations, room assignments, and billing.
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Communication:
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and address guest needs.
- Maintain clear and open communication with the Hotel General Manager regarding guest feedback, staff performance, and any operational issues.
- Financial Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage front desk expenditures, including supplies and equipment.
- Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately, including guest payments and daily cash handling.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards, including health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and ensure proper reporting to the appropriate authorities.
- Technology and Systems:
- Utilize hotel management software to manage reservations, guest information, and billing.
- Ensure all front desk staff are proficient in using hotel management systems and software.
