In this role, you will need to be organized, confident, proactive, and have experience in property maintenance with keen attention to detail. You should be capable of working across multiple properties and adapting to various responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Food and Beverage Manager in managing daytime conference operations.
  • Representing the Meetings & Events department within the hotel management team and advocating for food and beverage operations across all conference and event spaces.
  • Reviewing function sheets, menus, room layouts, and supplier details before events to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences.
  • Building strong relationships with the Meetings & Events and Sales teams, attending pre- and post-event meetings to aid planning and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Leading a team confidently and representing the Meetings & Events operations in a management capacity.
  • Maintaining high standards of attention to detail and exceptional service quality.
  • Managing the events department during the day, leading your team to exceed service expectations, and overseeing budgets, sales targets, and operational standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, food safety, and security regulations.
  • Applying strong problem-solving skills to manage complex relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Ensuring all staff complete necessary training requirements.
