Do you enjoy the freedom to make decisions, avoid unnecessary red tape, and have fun while achieving ambitious goals?

Following our continued expansion in Bournemouth, including the acquisition of our second hotel, this is an exciting time to join Switch Management.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Regional Sales Manager to lead the sales strategy for the newly refurbished Queens Hotel & Spa Bournemouth, the vibrant ibis Styles Bournemouth, and support the growth of our wider hotel portfolio.

This is a high-profile opportunity to play a key role in establishing our presence within the Bournemouth market while helping shape the commercial success of a fast-growing hospitality group.

About Switch Management

Switch Management is a specialist hospitality management company that partners with hotel owners to unlock the full potential of their assets.

Combining commercial expertise with operational excellence, we deliver exceptional guest experiences, maximise revenue opportunities, and create sustainable long-term value.

Our collaborative and entrepreneurial culture empowers people to make decisions, challenge convention, and deliver meaningful results.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for talented people who want to grow with us.

About the Role

This is a strategic yet hands-on sales leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth across multiple properties and market segments.

You'll develop and execute regional sales strategies, manage a portfolio of key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and build long-term relationships with corporate clients, agencies, event organisers, and leisure partners.

Working closely with hotel operations, revenue management, marketing, and the wider Switch commercial team, you'll ensure opportunities are identified, converted, and retained while delivering an exceptional client experience throughout the sales journey.

You'll have ownership of the local corporate accommodation, meetings and events (MICE), group leisure and transient business segments, while collaborating with the Accor sales team and the Switch Corporate Account Director to maximise national and regional opportunities.

As an ambassador for our hotels and the Switch brand, you'll represent the business across the local and regional community through networking events, client meetings, trade exhibitions, sales calls and familiarisation visits.

This role offers a hybrid working pattern, combining time at our Bournemouth hotels with flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies that deliver sustainable revenue growth across all hotels within the portfolio.
  • Maintain, develop and grow a strong portfolio of corporate, MICE, leisure and group accounts through proactive account management and business development.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, telesales, client visits, GDS tools, arrival reports, referrals and market research.
  • Create and deliver strategic account plans with measurable revenue objectives and clear action plans.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers, travel buyers, event organisers and corporate clients to generate repeat business.
  • Lead client presentations, contract negotiations and commercial proposals.
  • Conduct hotel show rounds, familiarisation trips and client entertainment to showcase our properties.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and local demand to identify commercial opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, revenue management, marketing and consultancy teams to ensure seamless conversion and delivery of business.
  • Produce accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting and performance analysis using CRM systems.
  • Represent the hotels and Switch Management at networking events, trade shows and industry exhibitions.
  • Support and mentor colleagues within the wider sales function, sharing best practice and contributing to a collaborative team culture.

About You

You'll be an ambitious, commercially astute sales professional who enjoys building long-term partnerships and finding creative ways to win business.

Equally comfortable developing strategy and delivering hands-on sales activity, you'll bring energy, resilience and a genuine passion for hospitality.

You'll have

  • Proven experience in a regional, multi-property or hotel sales management role within the hospitality sector.
  • A strong track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Experience across corporate accommodation, meetings and events (MICE), leisure and group business.
  • Excellent business development, account management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify market trends and convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience developing sales plans, forecasts and pipeline reporting using CRM systems (Salesforce experience is advantageous).
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across operational and commercial teams.
  • Leadership experience or the ability to coach and support colleagues.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business travel.
  • Experience working with Accor brands is desirable but not essential.

Why Join Switch?

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Hybrid working with flexibility built around the needs of the business.
  • The opportunity to work across an exciting and expanding hotel portfolio.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial culture where ideas are encouraged and bureaucracy is kept to a minimum.
  • Genuine autonomy to make decisions and influence commercial success.
  • Career development opportunities within a fast-growing hospitality management company.
  • A supportive team that values personality, ambition and having fun while delivering exceptional results.
