What You'll Be Responsible For
- Driving and exceeding long-stay revenue targets for Birmingham
- Actively hunting new business across corporate long stay, local projects, relocations, student accommodation and extended-stay group business
- Targeting stays of 7, 14, 21 and 28+ nights, maximising length of stay and yield
- Building a strong pipeline of new national and local corporate accounts
- Growing and re-energising existing long-stay accounts to increase share and production
- Penetrating key Birmingham sectors including construction & infrastructure projects, media, touring, education, healthcare, retail and professional services
- Working closely with long-stay agencies to increase market penetration and conversion
- Using arrival, reservation and long-stay reporting to identify opportunity gaps and drive incremental revenue
- Creating bespoke proposals and negotiating commercial contracts aligned with market conditions
- Producing clear, results-focused sales activity and performance reports
Business Development & Market Presence
- Represent the brand at local and national trade shows and industry events
- Actively network across Birmingham's corporate and project communities
- Plan and co-host targeted hospitality events for bookers and decision-makers
- Conduct site inspections, client presentations and familiarisation visits
- Act as a strong brand ambassador within industry bodies such as ASAP, SABA, BEAM and the Institute of Travel Managers
What We're Looking For
- Proven success in hotel or serviced apartment sales, ideally within long stay, corporate or project accommodation
- A commercial hunter mindset with a strong track record of new account acquisition
- Understanding of the UK serviced apartment and extended-stay market
- Confident negotiator with excellent relationship-building skills
- Highly organised, data-driven and comfortable working with sales reporting tools
- Flexible to travel and host clients outside standard working hours
