We now have an exciting opportunity to assist in the delivery of magic service, within the role of Regional Maintenance Assistant

As a Regional Maintenance Assistant you will be required to master the art of versatility and inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties. The main duties expected within the role are:

  • Carry out checks of maintenance materials at least weekly, keeping stock levels to the minimum necessary to maintain continuity of service.
  • Be proactive in ensuring that the Hotel’s external surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Ensure that the workshop, plant rooms and all other engineering areas are clean and in safe condition. This includes removal from areas all items of debris or litter.
  • Enter defects and breakdowns in log books.
  • Create and maintain a pleasant and professional relationship with all members of Hotel staff.
  • To carry out timely repairs to all parts of the hotel/co-ordinate the repairs through a third party if deemed required.
  • Respond to Housekeeping maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure reports, returns and any other documentation required is completed accurately and timeously.
  • Be on call as and when required, and within scope of best practice to ensure the hotel maintains the services that guests and the business require.
  • Carry out timely repairs as logged in the daily maintenance book
  • To take ownership for the Brand standards and excellent operation standards as well as the Mystery audit standards and to ensure they are being adhered to
  • To carry out proactive approach to maintaining the fabric of property, i. e painting and decorating schedule and maintenance contracts.
