We now have an exciting opportunity to assist in the delivery of magic service, within the role of Group Compliance Assistant

As a Group Compliance Assistant you will be required to master the art of versatility and inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties. The main duties expected within the role are:

  • Maintain and update compliance trackers, registers, and statutory records.
  • Monitor compliance deadlines and ensure inspections, certifications, and renewals are completed on time.
  • Manage compliance documentation across multiple sites, ensuring audit readiness.
  • Prepare and support compliance reporting for senior management.
  • Assist with implementing Health & Safety procedures across all properties.
  • Maintain risk assessments, RAMS, incident logs, and related safety records.
  • Support incident and near-miss investigations, including documentation and follow-up actions.
  • Track corrective actions arising from audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external compliance audits.
  • Produce audit reports, defect schedules, action plans, and monitor resolution of findings.
  • Prepare compliance evidence and documentation for regulatory inspections.
  • Maintain contractor compliance records, including insurance, certifications, and accreditations.
  • Verify contractor compliance standards before engagement and support contractor onboarding.
  • Obtain, review, benchmark, and manage quotations for compliance-related works and services.
  • Monitor contractor performance and service delivery against compliance requirements.
  • Manage service contracts, renewals, planned maintenance schedules, and statutory inspections.
  • Maintain compliance contract registers and support procurement/RFQ processes.
  • Track statutory compliance areas including fire safety, electrical, gas, water hygiene, LOLER, asbestos, and building safety.
  • Maintain compliance databases, analyse trends, and produce regular risk and performance reports.
  • Act as the key liaison between sites, managers, contractors, and consultants while escalating compliance risks, delays, and cost concerns.
