- What you'll be doing
As a Central Reservation Co-ordinator, you will master the art of versatility and inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties.
- Take a proactive sales approach and adapt sales solutions to meet client needs and expectations
- Handle all M&E calls, face-to-face meetings and email enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Ensure all reservations are accepted, recorded and confirmed accurately in accordance to the company's policy and legal standards
- Use reservations system to retrieve, update and input room reservations
- Act as main point of contact for all prospective clients with excellent communication skills
- Identify customer needs and create well-presented, customised M&E proposals
- Identify sales leads and forward to the Sales Team
- Assist with training and development of new team members
- Maintain current and past client records and communicate changes as necessary
- Develop relationships with local clients, direct bookers and agency workers
- Conduct show rounds to guests and potential new clients
- Ensure bookings exceed guest expectations when opportunities arise
- Assist in the management of business bookings
