We now have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Guest Support Assistant to join Holiday Inn Express Birmingham - South

Please note - This role does have an element of night working.

As a Casual Guest Support Assistant, you will be required to master the art of versatility and inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties. The main duties expected within the role are:

  • To be welcoming and approachable to all visitors to the hotel.
  • Responsible for maintaining a comfortable atmosphere in the public areas by controlling and monitoring heating, lighting, music/tv.
  • To maintain the lobby & public areas, stores, staff areas in a clean and tidy condition.
  • To liaise with HK teams to ensure that the bedrooms are set up and ready for use as per the agreed times, as well as ensuring the setup & upkeep of the meeting room.
  • Deal with any guest queries/complaints in a polite and friendly manner ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • General maintenance to resolve the room & hotel issues (such as plumbing, patch painting, general H&S checks)
  • Reasonable ad-hoc duties as requested per management.
