Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Relationship Manager to help build our UK presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with institutional clients — including asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds, insurance companies, and other financial institutions.

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Prospecting and acquiring new clients and strengthening relationships, including asset managers, pension funds, hedge funds, and insurance companies.
    • Introduce UK clients to the Swissquote Bank product and services.
    • Manage each account to ensure that the client has a completed profile and that accounts are correctly maintained and serviced, specifically adhering to Swissquote's internal guidelines, including compliance and risk management framework.
    • Oversee the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date client records.
  • Business Development & Growth
    • Assist in establishing the relationship management department in the UK.
    • Identify and cultivate prospects and new business opportunities.
    • Initiate and lead new business meetings, closing sales with institutional and private clients.
    • Leverage relationships with existing institutional accounts through proactive, creative outreach initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Sales Support
    • Work with internal departments to ensure company practices align with client expectations.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure sales materials are current, targeted, and effective.
    • Partner with Swissquote team members, SQHQ, and foreign office colleagues to further develop sales opportunities and strategies.

Qualifications

  • 2-6 years of experience in institutional sales within a Bank or Financial Institution.
  • Experience in institutional sales, experience in FX and Crypto markets, with an understanding of electronic trading platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Integral, 360T) and pricing systems is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial, strong interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage sophisticated institutional clients.
  • Existing network and client relationships in the UK.
  • Success in onboarding institutional client relationships & building strong engagement.
  • Languages: English (native), any other language is a plus.
