Responsibilities
- Supervise/allocate tasks including reporting
- Develop an open feedback culture by managing the performance of employees and ensure workplace standards are maintained.
- Ensure compliance with all Swissport corporate safety and security procedures in order to meet/exceed regulatory standards deliver the desired customer service experience.
- Maintain up to date manuals and documentation as required.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and airport authorities.
- Encourage consistency and collaboration by ensuring clear communication at all levels. This will include staff briefings shift handover meetings, one to one and competition of relevant reports.
- Ensure compliance with Swissport SOPs and policies including site safety.
- Resolve conflict and irregularities and take appropriate action.
- Responsible for maintenance of assigned equipment and materials.
- On the job guiding, coaching and mentoring.
- Signing off break/ build documentation
- Oversee security screening operations
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts
- Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available.
- Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required
- Willingness to work in inclement weather
- Able to work in a manual environment and lift up to 32kg through as shift required.
- Able to work as part of a team in a challenging fast paced environment.
- Previous experience working in an aviation environmental desirable.
- Preferably 3 years experience industrial
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A full driving licence.
