We are looking for highly motivated individuals to service, repair and maintain all types of Ground Service Equipment (GSE). You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all GSE and upload inspection findings and job details into Swissport’s fleet management system and may be required to respond to out of hours service requests.

Responsibilities

  • Time served Technician with City & Guilds or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year post Apprentice experience
  • Good general mechanical, diagnostics and fault finding ability
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electric systems
  • Ability to conduct safety inspections and perform routine maintenance
  • Enthusiastic, flexible team player with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude
  • Welding preferred but not necessary
  • Willingness to work in inclement weather
  • Must have own tools
  • Willingness to travel when necessary for training or to assist other Swissport stations with GSE needs
  • Must be able to pass DBS security background checks
