Location: Birmingham Airport

Contract Type: Casual

Hours: Monday-Sunday (shift work), predominantly early shifts starting at 03:30am

Salary: £13.49 per hour, with a night allowance of £0.85 per hour from 23:59 to 06:00am

About the Role:

As a Lounge Host, you will report to the Team Leader and be a key member of the team ensuring guest expectations are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception: Offer a warm and friendly welcome, efficient check-in process, and manage capacity at peak times.
  • Food and Beverage: Ensure food and beverage offerings are available and well presented, engage with guests, and guide them on options.
  • General Host: Clear and clean tables, maintain organisation and cleanliness, and respond to guest questions.
  • Back of House: Assist with stock delivery, waste services, and maintain hygiene in all areas.

Qualifications:

  • Background in hospitality or customer services with high levels of customer interaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Good numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Computer literate, including payment machines and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or be self-motivated.
  • Flexible to work shifts covering 03:30 – 21:00, 7 days a week.
