Job Summary
The Global Training Program Manager Cargo is responsible for developing and executing training strategies for prioritized business initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of training methodologies, strong project management skills, and expertise in deploying programs across multiple locations worldwide.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the global end‑to‑end learning process from analysis, design and development, delivery, feedback, evaluation and impact measurement of prioritized training initiatives and programs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define the overall business and training strategies, objectives, regulations, roadmaps and scope for the project implementation.
- Develop and maintain training project plans, including budget, timelines, milestones and resource allocation.
- Design a blended learning approach that incorporates various training methods.
- Work with Swissport instructional designers and third‑party providers to develop and execute training programs and workshops.
- Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling sessions and managing participant registrations.
- Lead train‑the‑trainers with identified regional trainers/super users.
- Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for all identified groups.
- Track key metrics and business performance to evaluate efficacy and impact of programs.
- Keep abreast of current trends in adult learning methodologies.
- Translate training and related documentation for worldwide deployments.
Qualifications and Competencies
- 8+ years of previous experience in Learning, TM/OD and/or HR.
- Proven experience as a training program manager, or similar role in large‑scale training and talent management projects.
- Aviation industry experience is essential, cargo import/export training experience.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent training facilitation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Familiarity with e‑learning authoring tools and learning management systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- Customer centric, identifying and anticipating customer requirements.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Change management knowledge and experience is highly desirable.
- Full proficiency in English is a must; other languages are a plus.
