Control Centre Operator
Location: BHX Cargo, Birmingham International Airport
Reports to: ICC Supervisor
Shift Pattern: 24/7 rotational coverage 4 on 4 off.
Role Overview:
ICC Agents are responsible for the real-time monitoring of Swissport UK\'s telematics and safety camera systems, identifying and escalating safety and operational concerns related to GSE assets. They ensure that incidents such as aircraft damage, GSE misuse, speeding, idling, and incorrect parking are logged, reported, and investigated promptly.
Responsibilities
- Monitor telematics and safety camera systems for irregularities or violations.
- Identify and log incidents, escalating critical cases to the ICC Supervisor.
- Assist in compiling evidence for investigations related to safety and operational incidents.
- Communicate with ground operations teams regarding potential risks or ongoing investigations.
- Maintain accurate records and reports for internal and regulatory compliance.
- Follow established response protocols for handling safety and operational issues.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance ICC efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in a monitoring or control room environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret telematics data.
