HGV Driver Class 1 Only , Heathrow, 4 on4 off in City of London

Class 1 Drivers Based At London Heathrow

We are seeking an experienced and responsible employee with a Class 1/ LGV1 license.

Interviews will take place in person on on an invite only basis.

Job responsibilities include transporting secure air freight from locations around the UK and IE, also supporting LHR local cross dock servicing Heathrow Airport

All applicants must have a valid driver's licence, Class 1/ LGV1 licence and at least two years of experience driving LGV. You should have no more than 6 points on your licence.

Shifts would typically be 4 on 4 off including weekends

All airport workers will need a full 5 years checkable work History, a cargo operative certificate (Training can be given to the right candidate) also a Basic disclosure with no disqualifying convictions will be required

Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure that cargo is secure during transit.
• Manage the loading and unloading of vehicles and ensure that cargos are handled safely and efficiently.
• Be willing to work irregular shifts and long hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Completing paperwork correctly and clearly

Qualifications

Licence/Certification:

• Driver CPC Licence (required)
• Class 1 License
