This is a hands-on delivery role; the individual needs a strong finance background and will need to self-serve, sourcing performance KPIs and financial data directly rather than relying on others to provide it.

The role will combine constructive challenge with hands-on analytical support, helping the leadership team identify risks early, make decisions quickly, and sustain benefits through to P&L impact.

  • Maintain a single, integrated view of the UK&I transformation portfolio, including initiatives, milestones, accountabilities, risks, dependencies, and decisions required.
  • Work hands-on with initiative owners to build and stress-test clear plans, business cases, milestones, KPIs, and action plans, with a pragmatic, analytically grounded focus on delivery.
  • Directly track benefits realisation, including baseline validation, run-rate confirmation, and P&L impact, sourcing the underlying data independently.
  • Prepare clear, fact-based reporting for the UK&I CFO, UK&I CEO, and regional leadership team, and consolidate inputs required by the Group PMO and CSTO Office.
  • Proactively identify delivery risks and roadblocks through direct analysis, drive corrective actions, and elevate issues requiring leadership intervention.
  • Embed simple, consistent PMO tools and ways of working that improve accountability without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Key Initiatives T ransformation Governance & Cadence
  • Personally operate the core regional transformation rhythm, including weekly workstream reviews, monthly UK&I performance forums, and regular inputs into Group governance.
  • Maintain a clear action, risk, issue, and decision log, with ownership and due dates visible to the leadership team.
  • Apply Group PMO standards proportionately across the UK&I portfolio, including business cases, initiative charters, milestone plans, and escalation protocols.
  • Portfolio
  • Establish and maintain consistent baselines, measurement rules, and evidence standards, sourced and validated directly.
  • Monitor delivery through to validated run-rate and P&L impact, using hands-on analysis to highlight risks of delay or benefit leakage.
  • Produce concise performance insights, grounded in direct analysis, that focus leadership attention on areas requiring decisions or intervention.
  • Stakeholder Support & Group Coordination
  • Act as a trusted delivery partner to the UK&I leadership team and initiative owners, providing hands-on analytical support while holding teams to account for agreed commitments.
  • Coordinate closely with the Group Transformation Governance & Value Creation PMO and CSTO Office to ensure alignment of standards, reporting, and escalation.
  • Build effective working relationships across functions, countries, and operational teams within the region.

Qualifications

  • University degree in business administration, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Accounting qualification preferred – CIMA / ACCA / ACA.
  • Approximately 6-10 years of total work experience, a strong financial analysis / accounting background, and hands-on experience directly delivering financial analysis within project or transformation environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently source, analyse, and coordinate multiple initiatives, maintain clear plans, and follow through on actions in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong analytical and financial capability, with the ability to connect delivery progress to measurable benefits and P&L impact through direct analysis.
  • Comfort working with senior stakeholders and supporting leadership discussions with clear, concise, fact-based materials developed through hands-on analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and Power Point; experience with project management or reporting tools is desirable.
