We’re looking for a confident and motivated Kitchen Lead Cook to take charge of daily kitchen operations and help us deliver consistently high‑quality dishes to our guests. This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves cooking, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and takes pride in leading by example.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring smooth service throughout the day
  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with Aspire Lounge standards
  • Oversee food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness at all times
  • Support and guide kitchen assistants, helping to train and motivate the team
  • Manage stock levels, deliveries, and waste reduction
  • Work closely with Lounge Management to maintain menu quality and consistency
  • Ensure all dietary requirements and allergen procedures are followed correctly

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cook or chef, ideally in a high-volume or hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and inspire others
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practices
  • A calm, organised approach—even during busy periods
  • Passion for delivering great food and a great guest experience
  • Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
