Cook/Catering Assistant Required: Birmingham Airport
Part‑Time, 30 Hours per week (Mon-Sun, shift work)
Pay Rate: £13.49 per hour
Night allowance: £0.85 per hour from 23:59 to 06:00.
References: 5 years from the UK required.
Job Summary: As a Cook you will report to the Team Leader and be a key member of the back‑of‑house team focusing on food preparation, replenishment, and presentational duties, along with all other aspects of back‑of‑house hygiene to ensure guest expectations are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the kitchen area within the lounge, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
- Prepare hot and cold food offerings to be presented on a self‑service station within the lounge.
- Ensure the quality and presentation of food are prepared according to all SOPs to guarantee a consistently excellent standard of service.
- Ensure all food is stored, handled and packaged correctly.
- Follow our Food Safety Management System at all times.
- Maintain records of temperatures of hot food and cold storage according to the SOP.
- Assist the back‑of‑house team with duties as required.
- Fulfil ad‑hoc reasonable requests by local leadership team.

Qualifications:
- Background in a high‑volume regeneration kitchen.
