Responsibilities:
- Make an impact as a Resident Maintenance Engineer, working rotating 12‑hour shifts day and night across Grantham.
- Breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on automated machinery, including cranes, conveyors, vertical lifts, monorail systems and deep freeze high bay.
- Work in a cold environment (-18°C).
- Undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations and industry standard practices.
- Prioritise system faults and ensure quality of output at all times.
- Accurately record all work undertaken and involve continuous improvement projects.
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
Application Requirements:
- An apprenticeship‑trained Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with automated machinery preferred (training provided if not).
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Customer‑facing role requiring effective communication at all levels.
- Experience with a CMMS system.
