ResponsibilitiesMake an impactSwisslog is currently seeking an experienced Senior Solution Designer to design solutions for complex intralogistics customer projects. Our head office in the UK is based in Redditch however this position can be performed from a home office environment with travel to customer sites or the head office when required. Autonomously and successfully understand of customer requirements and develop solutions for medium to complex projectsSuccessfully lead the sales process from a Technical/Solution point of view, understanding customer requirements and opportunities and designing concepts and solutions for medium to complex projectsParticipation in customer meetings, presentations, workshops and other pre-sale and sales activities.
Able to analyze complex customer's business data and processesWork with customers and internal stakeholders to develop the appropriate intralogistics concepts and solution for medium to complex projectsCreate material flow diagrams, evaluate the proper technology to be used and dimension the subsystemsPrepare solution layout through 3D tools/CADPrepare budget costing based on standard Budget Tools for medium project complexityAct as a leader in front of the customer in terms of solution and technical aspectsApplication RequirementsWhat you need to succeedExperience in intralogistics solution designExperience with AutoCAD or RevitFamiliar with the common solution design standards in logisticsHigh level of independence, winning demeanour, assertivenessExperienced IT user on common systems (MS Office, CRM & ERP systems)Design & Technical background in the material handling industryData analysis skills, PowerBI or SQL knowledge is desirable #LI-SM1Short FactsRedditch, United Kingdom
