We are currently seeking a Project Manager for a 12 month plus contract based out of our Redditch office with hybrid and remote working available.

The position holder will be responsible for ensuring that the projects assigned to them are performed correctly in terms of customer satisfaction, technical aspects, timing, financial aspects and in accordance with Swisslog’s guidelines.

Make an impact

  • Establish, manage and motivate mixed (Swisslog and client), cross-functional realization project teams
  • Leverage team member’s skills and experience to enhance the project team’s results
  • Increase project benefit and prevent project risks by appropriate risk management
  • Regularly perform and update critical path analysis
  • Evaluate contracts with sub-contractors, minimizing risks for Swisslog
  • Give support to the Sales department in the contract definition phase and in future relationship for extensions or new business
  • Lead responsibility that all the project specifications such as layout, functional, acceptance test specifications etc. are issued timely and detailed enough to avoid technical and contractual risks for Swisslog

What you need to succeed

  • Previous experience in project management or work with a project methodology approach in a technical and customer oriented environment
  • Proven experience of successful managing long term engineering complex projects
  • Previous experience of working in supply chain/logistics/intralogistics field is highly desirable
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites when necessary
