ResponsibilitiesMake an impactSwisslog are seeking a high-calibre individual to play a key role within our Customer Service group. The role will require you to build effective customer relations in order to develop a partnership between Swisslog and the customer based on trust and confidence.Swisslog are a leading intralogistics company, part of the KUKA Group with 14,000 employees globally.The position is based out of our Redditch head office with remote and hybrid working options available with travel to the customer in the UK when required. The Account Manager will be the owner of the Customer’s Solution and will be responsible for the contract and development of the customer account. The successful candidate will be required to work with all internal departments and the team to achieve desired results on time which benefit both the customer and Swisslog’s long term objectives.Proactive support of the assigned customers in the existing customer baseRegular customer visitsKnowing the client's activities and identifying, picking up and selling potential for projectsBeing the contact person for every customer need, providing contacts to the appropriate Swisslog departments, coordinating a wide range of internal departments in order to achieve the services required by the customer and complete the tasks set.Co-ordination of support and maintenance contracts and conceptsApplication RequirementsWhat you need to succeedYou must be an excellent face to face communicator and able to demonstrate success and experience in managing external partners and internal resources. The successful applicant must be self-driven, result oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. The successful candidate must be professional, credible, and comfortable in dealing with Senior Company Executives.It is essential to have previous management experience and experience within a support or logistics environment.Several years of sales / account management experienceBasic technical understanding, engineering background is a plus High level of independence, tenacity and durabilityIdeally knowledge of the supply chain / intralogistics industry although not essential#LI-SM1Short FactsRedditch, United Kingdom
