Due to continued expansion, Swisslog requires a Maintenance Team Leader to help maintain and operate a brand new highly automated warehouse at the East Midlands Gateway Logistics Park. The role will manage and lead a small team of multi-disciplined engineers, delivering all aspects of the engineering service on shift within key KPI guidelines. The role will manage and coordinate the daily activities of the team of Resident Maintenance Engineers through effective planning and organisation and represent Swisslog in a professional manner at all times.
We are looking for:
- Proven experience of leading a small team of engineering staff (3 years)
- Experience of managing staff performance including appraisals
- Electrical and Mechanical maintenance engineering skills
- Proven competence in H&S
- Experience working on automated equipment such as pallet stacker cranes, pallet conveyor, light goods conveyor and monorail systems
- Demonstrable understanding of the principles of excellent customer service
- Effective time and workload management skills
- Ideally experience of PLC systems (S5, S7, safety PLCs)
- Experience of robotics
- Experience working to EN528 Standard
- Knowledge of software controlled logistic systems and understanding of daily operational problems in a logistics centre
- Use of CMMS for PPM’s and fault logging for reporting and identifying CI
- Good level of health and fitness and to be able to work safely at height
