Responsibilities:
- Electrical and mechanical breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, including wrappers, pallet conveyors, packaging machinery, pallet stacker cranes, and robots.
- Carry out automated materials handling equipment servicing in accordance with quality standards.
- Working with Siemens S7 and safety PLCs.
- Always comply with Health & Safety legislation.
- Working at heights.
- Prioritise system faults.
- Ensure quality of output.
- Accurately record all work undertaken.
- Involvement in continuous improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification in Electrical OR Mechanical Engineering.
- Happy to work at heights.
- This is a customer-facing role, so effective communication at all levels is essential.
- An understanding of PLC systems is desirable.
