YOUR TASKS
We are seeking an individual who has the capability to maintain, repair and support the equipment supplied by Swisslog at the Jaguar Land Rover site in Halewood. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to carry out automated material handling equipment servicing in accordance with the quality standards as set out in the equipment manuals. You must be able to undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations. The Resident Maintenance Engineer will always be required to comply with Health & Safety legislation. We are looking for someone who can always ensure quality of output, accurately record all work undertaken and participate in continuous improvements and sales opportunities. You will be required to work under high pressure during difficult situations and you must ensure all decisions made on site are always with the customer in mind, providing a world-class customer service.
YOUR PROFILE
It is essential that you have good all-around engineering skills, both electrical and mechanical, and are able to fault find to component failure. You will need to have background experience in working with automation such as pallet stacker cranes, pallet conveyors, light goods conveyors, and robots or similar automated equipment. Applicants should be able to integrate themselves into a team working environment and will be required to work and rescue at height.
