The Role β Resident Maintenance Engineer
- Breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include cranes, conveyors, monorail system and a deep freeze high bay.
- Working in a cold environment (-20 degrees).
- To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations and industry standard practices.
- Prioritise system faults.
- To ensure quality of output at all times.
- To accurately record all work undertaken.
- Involvement in continuous improvement projects.
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
The Person β Resident Maintenance Engineer
- An apprentice trained Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of working with automated machinery is ideal; however, it is not essential as training will be provided.
- Happy to work at heights.
- This is a customer facing role, so you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Experience of working with a CMMS system.
