Our apprenticeship programme offers candidates the opportunity to pursue a career with a leading global provider of reinsurance, insurance and other insurance-based forms of risk transfer. Throughout the programme, the apprentice will be based within the Operations department and receive on-the-job guidance and support from qualified professionals whilst studying for their Level 3 Insurance Practitioner qualification with Skills Edge. The goal of the programme is to give newcomers a successful start into the dynamic and demanding world of insurance and reinsurance.
The apprentice will be employed on a temporary contract for 18-24 months with an expected start date of September 2025.
About The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day support of the operations team. Tasks will vary; however, they will be set to help you develop an understanding of the business and the industry. You will be involved in general administrative and support duties leading to managing a portfolio, dealing with internal stakeholders, external clients and suppliers. You will be given the opportunity to participate in group projects.

Participating in a 20% off-the-job training is a statutory requirement for an English apprentice. It is training, which is received by the apprentice, during the apprentice’s normal working hours, for the purpose of achieving the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the approved apprenticeship referenced in the apprenticeship agreement.
The gross annual base salary for this role is 21 000 GBP full time. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based (discretionary) bonus targeted at 1 000 GBP.
